In it's 5 generation now the Ford Mustang was one of the most successful product launches in automotive history. The Mustang sold over one million units in its first 18 months on the market. The Mustang is going strong and still remains in production today after many decades and numerous revisions.
The Ford Mustang produced by the Ford Motor Company, was originally based on the Ford Falcon compact. The first production Mustang rolled off the assembly line in Dearborn, Michigan on March 9, 1964, and was introduced to the public at the New York World's Fair on April 17, 1964, via all three American television networks on April 19. From then the Ford Mustang hast captured the heart of American and still today we continue the love affaire with the Orginal Pony Car, the Ford Mustang.
